Overgrown shrubs and bushes out, roots and all, and the bed put back properly rather than covered over. Rock, edging, mulch, sod and topsoil. Grading, drainage, backfill and small site prep: if water sits against the house after a storm, or the ground slopes the wrong way after a build, this is the fix. Everything that comes out leaves on our trailer the same day.
